The outboard skiff Emma was designed as a practical boat from which to fish or otherwise enjoy the waters of Long Island Sound, or similar areas where folks find relaxation and enjoyment.
The boat, our design No. 875, is 14 ft. 0 in. o.a. by 4 ft. 6 in. in breadth and draws but 5 inches.
Complete working drawings include the lines: with dimensions lettered on these -- construction plan, elevation and sections; outboard profile and arrangement of thwarts: outboard engine is indicated for power, this to be a 3 to 4 h.p. Evinrude, or similar, well proven engine.
Designed with the practical, man, or lady, in mind -- to be built entirely of 100% waterproof plywood, Emma is but another of our growing file of simple, relatively easy to build boats -- all of 100% waterproof plywood, white oak and materials easily obtained in most any country of the world.
